Super Guy - Mechagodzilla Selvedge

Introducing the Mechagodzilla Selvedge, a 19oz Japanese selvedge denim inspired by Mechagodzilla’s first appearance in the 1974 film Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla. In the film, Mechagodzilla is a robotic double of Godzilla, cold, weaponized, and engineered for destruction. This denim reflects those visual elements with a structured, metallic-toned design.

The denim is woven in Japan using 100% cotton and features an iron grey weft visible beneath a rope-dyed indigo warp, evoking the polished steel exterior of Mechagodzilla. The heavy 19oz weight gives the fabric a stiff, armor-like hand that softens with wear while retaining deep texture. A silver and red selvedge ID runs along the outseam, mirroring Mechagodzilla’s metal body and glowing red sensors.

Finished with a natural veg tan leather patch embossed and silver foil-stamped with Mechagodzilla® artwork, full-color pocket bags featuring Godzilla® movie posters, and a dual-branded woven label. Cut and sewn in Canada, the jeans are built with contrast stitching, a button fly, and silver metallic hardware.

The Super Guy is a skinny fit with a medium rise, a slim top block, and a taper from knee to hem.
